The Best Cheesy Rom-Coms to Watch

Like a lot of other girls, I find solace in romantic comedies. They're the glimmer of hope I have, that one day I'll find someone who will write me a letter every day of the year, or will kiss me in the rain. Just kidding, not really. Kissing in the rain just sounds cold and like you'd get all covered in snot.
I find that the majority of romantic movies I like have gotten bad reviews, possibly because they've been done before or lack a certain depth, but I love them regardless. They're funny, they make you feel good and make you want to fall in love.
A Walk to Remember
Ok, this one isn't as funny as it is sad. I read the book first, so I knew how the movie ended. However, that didn't stop the onslaught of tears as the credits rolled. I loved this movie so much because it was so tragic in the end, and it made you want so desperately for Jamie and Landon to be together.
Love Actually
Some of my favorite movies are the kind that include multitudes of love stories that all interconnect later on. Love Actually is the perfect example. Set during Christmas in London, this movie takes you on a journey spanning all different kinds of love stories, with plenty of great one-liners and passionate kisses, this is an all time favorite.
About Time
I couldn't decide who was more attractive throughout this movie-Rachel McAdams or Domhnall Gleeson? Again, this movie has more sadness than laughter, but it is adorable nonetheless. McAdams once again plays the wife of a time traveler, and it's far more lighthearted than the Time Travelers Wife, so I highly recommend it.
Letters to Juliet
Ok, c'mon, this movie was pretty cute. Not only does it incorporate the story of Romeo and Juliet, but it takes a slightly modern twist on it, with not only one, but two different love stories. Letters to Juliet is the movie we all hate to admit we watch on a Friday night after school or work while wearing an Ulta beauty face mask that ends up tear stained.
